Essex Business School presents the summer school “Econometric methods for high-dimensional empirical macroeconomic models” taking place for the first time this year. This three-day intensive course (18 hours), delivered by Dimitris Korobilis, aims to help participants develop an understanding of econometric methods relevant for the analysis of large macroeconomic and financial time series data.
This summer school is ideal for advanced PhD students and early career academics in macroeconomics/finance. As this course requires prior specialised knowledge, it is particularly important to pay attention to the course prerequisites outlined on our Econometrics Webpage and applicants will be required to submit their CV first in order to pass an initial screening.
