The history and development of the university since its foundation in 1967, the youngest university in Baden-Württemberg has experienced a remarkable upward trend – partly continuously or in small steps, some of which are characterized by striking construction stages.
This is also confirmed by the “THE 150 Under 50” ranking of the British magazine “Times Higher Education” (THE), in which the University of Ulm has once again improved. In the just published comparison of the young universities, which were founded less than 50 years ago, the Ulm University occupies an excellent position worldwide. Last year it reached 15th place.
The more than 10000 students are distributed among the faculties of medicine, engineering, computer science and psychology, mathematics and economics as well as natural sciences.
